Sgt. Sandoval & The Camel

4th PSC Odyssey - Scene 75 - Sgt Sandoval & The Camel
[Setup: A silver Prado SUV with 2 Marine Sergeants and a Corpsman doing some routine reconnaissance of the local area come across three camels grazing in the late Djibouti morning.]
HM2 Gutierrez: "Hey Sgt. Hernandez, slow down! I'd like to get a picture of these camels for my boys back home."
Sgt. Hernandez: "Sure Doc."

Sgt. Sandoval: "Hey that sounds like a good idea. Hey Doc, will you take a picture of me too?"
HM2 Gutierrez: "Sure, no problem"
Camel: ?!?!?!?!?

Sgt. Hernandez: "Get closer"

HM2 Gutierrez: "I hope the camel doesn't bite him...Hey, Sgt. Sandoval, see if he'll eat if you give him something."

Sgt. Sandoval: "Hey Doc! Take a picture of me with the camel....did you get it?

HM2 Gutierrez: "Got it - don't get too close. Camels are infamous for spitting and biting and they do have a pretty mean bite."

Sgt. Sandoval: "I don't think he's going to bite."

Sgt. Sandoval: (holding a small leafy branch from the tree) "Here...you want some of this?"

Camel: (Getting up and snorting)

Sgt. Sandoval: (turning and walking back to vehicle) "Okay...I guess not"

Sgt. Hernandez: (to Sgt. Sandoval) "I was hoping he was going to bite you."

Sgt. Sandoval: "Thanks"

HM2 Gutierrez: "I feel there's a lot of love circulating in this vehicle."

[Exit Prado with Marines and Corpsmen]

Camel: (thinking) "I wonder what that was all about?"
